Openapi SpA is opening up more and more to the foreign market and is doing so both at the level of API services, many of which are introduced with the idea of satisfying the needs of a non-Italian public, and at the legal level.

In fact, the registration application submitted by Openapi to the EUIPO, the European Union Office for Intellectual Property, was approved. As a result, the coverage of services with trademark protection throughout Europe was extended.

Our company is thus protected against any attempts at fraud and counterfeiting, and this is certainly a crucial step for Openapi, which now operates outside of Italy. Failure to register the trademark at European level would have entailed serious risks for our brand identity and brand reputation, so we are happy to have such strong and secure protection.

But there is more. We have also recently completed the registration of Openapi domains in the main European countries: Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and the UK. We have thus expanded and strengthened our online presence in Europe, with a view to the increasing internationalisation of the services offered by our API marketplace.

We are delighted with the great growth our company has experienced in recent years. Opening up to other markets is bringing us great changes and new challenges, which we are very excited about. The next step is to consolidate our presence also outside Europe, thus adapting our offer to still other markets. This is one of the main goals to be achieved between 2023 and 2024, and we are already working to make these plans a reality.
